To redefine the 360 Framework and to help increase participation, the Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) on Thursday conducted one-day seminar for 60 cricket development coordinators and coaches at the Kingtom Senior Police Officers’ Mess.

Welcoming all, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLCA, Sheku Alim Cawray, said one of their mandates is to grow the game. “We cannot do that without the help of experienced development coordinators and coaches. Having this type of training is ever essential,” he pointed out.

SLCA’s Database Operator, Catherine Fatima Samura, took the participants through slides on cricket development project for 2023 and the importance of the ICC training and education courses delivered via the Edapp.

Speaking during his session, Cricket Expert, Kenneth Masinga, said the idea is to deliver cricket entry level programme for communities and PE teachers. “We expect the participants to gain deeper understanding of the game and its components. They should help engage children through skills, games and friendship,” he told newsman.
