The managing director for Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited, Ikubolaje Nicol has been arrested and detained at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Freetown on allegations of murdering his girlfriend, who happening to be an employee of the bank.
Police investigators have retrieved exhibits showing that the deceased Sinnah Kai Kargbo was brutally murdered. The corpse of the young lady has been taken to the Connaught Hospital in Freetown for post-mortem examination.
Police also in investigating further, arrested some family members of the accused Ikubolaje Nicol, including his father and sisters have been arrested and detained at the CID headquarters helping with ongoing Investigations.
According to reports also the deceased informed her twin sister who stays abroad prior to her unfortunate death about going over to the accused person’s house during a phone conversation as both the deceased Sinnah Kai Kargbo and the accused person live close with only a fence separating them.
