The Sierra Leone Football Association has on 24th October 2021 ordered the Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Female Team (Sierra Queens) Abdulai Kaloga Bah to step aside from his duty with immediate effect pending investigations on him regarding alleged professional misconduct.
Consequently, Hassan Malik Mansaray- Assistant Coach 1 has been authorized to temporarily take charge as head coach for Women’s AFCON Qualifiers.
According to Abdulai Kaloga Bah the Sierra Leone Football Association he has saw a Press Release from Social Media which utterly shocked him into disbelief, and he said the allegations against him are completely untrue and unfounded.
He affirmed that as a professional and a family man he will never molest or use his position to gain any physical and emotional advantage against young children.
“I have accepted the SLFA directives to step aside until further investigation is carried out. I will however hope this investigation will be carried out swiftly to prove my innocence.” He added that
“It is my hope that investigation into such matters doesn’t take forever as my only source of livelihood is from football which is being affected by claims and allegations that have no basis.” Abdulai Kaloga Bah said.
