The Chief Executive of GTMS International and Shipping Mogul, Sahr William Ngegba has donated the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Million (Le 250 M) to FC Kallon ahead of their away tie with Beninois side “Les Buffles du Bougou” in the first leg in Parakou, Benin and the return leg to be played a week later in Monrovia, being the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary round of qualifiers.
In addition, Club owner Mohamed Kallon also donated the sum of Two Hundred Million Leones (Le 200 M) while General Manager, Tunde M. Scott donated the sum of Fifty Million Leones (50 M) summed up to Five Hundred Million Leones. (Le 500 M).
According to the General Manager Tunde Scott, ‘the donation from Sahr William Ngegba and club owner Mohamed Kallon is step in the right direction ahead of next month’s home and away crunch ties’.
He said: “I am grateful for this development even though we need more cash to meet our target”,Tunde Scott told Owlsports.
“We are calling on SLFA, NSA and the Ministry of Sports to come to our aid because this venture is not only for FC Kallon but Sierra Leone, because we are going there to represent the Green, White and Blue” he said .
He however called supporters to come on board to support the club. “The fans are the twelfth man, so we need their financial support also”,he concluded
