Sierra Leonean FIFA badge Referee Mohamed Kamara has been appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football CAF to officiate Champions League match between Habioud FC from Sudan Vs Al-Merrikh from South Sudan on the 19th August 2023.
Mohamed Koroma hail from Kono District where he started his profession and later grow to the ranks of being an elite Referee in the Country. He has gained wealth of experience in officiating the elite Premier League in the Country and there he has gain his experience and reached in the ranks of being a FIFA Referee in the Country.
In a shot message from the Kono District Football Association reads “The Kono District Football Association wish Mohamed Koroma all the best of Luck in the assignment ahead of him in the CAF Champion League, we know you can make mama ‘Salone proud’.”
Few Month ago the Sierra Leone Referees Department trained elite referees and empower them with the modern trends of the game, and some who benefited from the trained has excelled to officiate top matches in the Premier League and across other match in the Country.
