Sierra Leone Women’s U-20 side has on the 24th September 2021 ended their last training session at the Alasaane Djigo Stadium De Pekine in Dakar, Senegal ahead of their crunch tie against their Guinea counterpart.
According to the media attaché, Kemoh Sesay said the Players are optimistic of securing a victory against Guinea. The team captain, Mamie Iye Thorley expressed hope and determination of winning the encounter.
She added that they have been training hard all this while with a positive mentality and physical character to approach the Guineans.
”This is the time to display what we have learnt from our coaches. We will not disappoint them”, she said.
She appealed to Sierra Leoneans to continue having trust in them as they are about to make history.
The head coach of the female national U-20 side they have trained intensively for the past three months including playing several friendly matches which has helped her to rectify their mistakes.
“We are assuring Sierra Leoneans of winning the match based on what I have seen in my players. They are committed and determined to play for our Country” she said.
The match between Sierra Leone Women’s U-20 and Guinea Women’s U-20 is scheduled to take place at the Alasaane Djigo Stadium de Pekine in Dakar on the 25th September, 2021 at 4pm.
Sierra Leone U-20 national team had been doing well in recent years and has been recording of victory in international Competitions.
