The Sierra Leone Premier League has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic following an emergency meeting between top-flight officials last Monday (February 15, 2020).

The decision to postpone the 2021 season that was expected to kick off on the 19th of February was unanimously taken by the FA, Premier League Board, in consultation with the Premier League clubs.

National coronavirus Emergency Response Center (NaCOVERC) is yet to ease restriction on fans.

Without spectators at match venues, it is yet to be seen if clubs will be willing to play without making any revenue.

In March 2020, the last league was halted and later cancelled over fears of the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Big spenders Bo Rangers were top of the league table with 23 points from 13 matches played during the first half of the league.
