The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) has officially confirmed that there will be no strike action at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay, addressing and dispelling recent rumors and misinformation circulating on various platforms.
In a statement, the authority reassured the public that the port remains fully operational, with import and export activities continuing seamlessly. All port operations are running smoothly, and vessels arriving at the port are being serviced on time. Cargo handling processes, including the discharge and delivery of goods, are also proceeding without interruption.
SLPHA’s management emphasized its commitment to providing efficient and uninterrupted services that adhere to international best practices. They further urged the public to seek verified information directly from the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority, rather than relying on unverified claims, which could potentially cause unnecessary panic or confusion.
