Sierra Leone Paralympian arrives in USA for formal education

Sierra Leone Paralympian, Juan Faith Jackson has arrived in Boston, USA from Sierra Leone to attend #highmovingschool where she will also continue her sports career in their football program at #blackrockfc.

She is the first student from #heartshapedhands Foundation to travel to the United States of America (USA) for both education and sports programs.

Heart-Shaped Hand is a foundation set up by Kei Kamara to help promising and needy kids in Sierra Leone achieve their dreams.

Kei Kamara announced Juan’s arrival via his social media accounts on Saturday evening, expressing delight for being able to get one of his first students in the USA.

 “I personally can’t express how happy I’m right at this moment to see Juan taking steps towards her dream”, the Leone Stars striker said.

Juan is not only a football prospect, but she is also an outstanding athlete who fins fun in doing sports. She has been working hard to achieve her goals of educating herself alongside playing sports.
