The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has concluded a major sponsorship agreement with Orange Sierra Leone for the 2026 FA Cup championship.
SLFA President Babadi Kamara, alongside General Secretary Ing. Mohamed Benson Bawoh and Deputy General Secretary Ishmail Saidu Kanu, met with Orange’s marketing team, including Marketing Director Abdramané Koné, on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, at the company’s Hill Station office in Freetown.
The meeting focused on finalizing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with both parties committing to coordinated and efficient execution to boost the reach, profile, and impact of the FA Cup.
The sponsorship is expected to strengthen football development, enhance the tournament experience, and provide tangible benefits to players, clubs, and other stakeholders.
The first phase of the 2026 FA Cup competition is currently underway across the country.
