Sierra Leone Football Association President Launches Three-Day Training on FIFA Connect and Competition Management System for Football Administrators

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially launched a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop on FIFA Connect and the Competition Management System (CMS). The workshop aims to enhance the digital capacity and administrative efficiency of football administrators across Sierra Leone.

Facilitated by Joel S. Freeman Sr. and Swen G. Bedell, both experts from the Liberia Football Association, the workshop brings together participants from all five regions of the country. The goal is to equip them with the necessary skills to effectively manage football data and competitions using modern digital platforms.

During the opening ceremony, SLFA President, Babadi Kamara, urged participants to engage fully with the program and share knowledge. He emphasized that the training represents another significant milestone in SLFA’s ongoing efforts to modernize football administration and align with international best practices.

The ceremony was attended by key members of the SLFA Executive Committee, including Prince Kai Saquee, Abdul Osman Turay (AOT), Kweku Melvin Lisk, Haja Ramatulai Kamara, and Pastor Philip Buck. All reaffirmed their commitment to advancing football development through innovation and capacity building.

This three-day workshop underscores SLFA’s continued efforts to digitalize football administration, ensuring that local structures are well-prepared to meet the operational standards of CAF and FIFA.0
