SLFA President Babadi Kamara and Acting General Secretary Ing. Mohamed Benson Bawoh are currently in Kampala, Uganda for the inaugural CAF Impact Strategic Roundtable workshop, which event kicks off today August 24th and runs until 29th August 2025 on the sidelines of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) PAMOJA 2024 in Kampala, Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya.
The CAF IMPACT Programme is a flagship CAF initiative aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in the use of CAF development funds, supporting Member Associations, and ensuring the sustainable growth and global competitiveness of African football.
For the first time, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is bringing together all 54 Presidents of Member Associations alongside their General Secretaries to a practical workshop aimed at strengthening financial governance, promoting youth competitions and driving impactful community outreach initiatives among others.
With the President of the country’s football governing body, SLFA and Acting General Secretary represented in the high-level conference alongside other African football leaders from across the continent, Sierra Leone aims to play a key role in shaping the continent’s game and elevating governance structures at internal level in the administration of football in Sierra Leone.
