Sierra Leone Defender David Sesay Joins Wealdstone F.C

Sierra Leonean defender, David Sesay has on Friday 26th November 2021 signed for Wealdstone on a free transfer after leaving National League rival Barnet.

The Ruislupland Borough base outfits completes in the English national league. They are presently fifteen in the log table after (16) matches played with 21 points.

The 23-year-old, who earned his first call to Sierra Leone last month and made his debut in a (1-1) draw against South Sudan in October 2021, has departed Barnet on mutual consents.

David Sesay played in all three matches for the Leone Stars in the Leone Stars training camp in Morocco last month, has now had the chance to continue in a new adventure after recovery from his injury.

The former Watford Academy product began his Professional career at Crawley Town, where he made 70 appearances in the three seasons before joining Barnet senior the club announced.

“We welcome David to the stones he will wear the number (11) shirts and goes straight into Saturday squad to face Stockport Country.” The club made these on their Official site.
