On October 29th, the President of the Sierra Leone Basketball Federation lead the U-16 National Team, champions of the Zone 2 U-16 Tournament, to the State House at 2:30 p.m. to present the championship trophy to His Excellency, the President of Sierra Leone.
This marks a historic milestone, as the team brought home an international trophy for the first time in our nation’s basketball history.
We are immensely proud of our boys, whose dedication, discipline, and teamwork have lifted Sierra Leone’s name high. Their victory is proof that our efforts, performance, and commitment to basketball development are yielding results and gaining well-deserved national recognition.
Together, we continue to build the future of basketball in Sierra Leone.
