Sierra Leone’s Shooting Starlets have embarked on system-building training sessions ahead of the West Africa Football Union tournament.
According to Coach Hassan Z Mansaray, the technical team of the U20 female side will be devising three different systems of play for the ladies because they will be playing against different countries with different systems in the competition.
He emphasized that the reason for training to master the three systems is because the technical team has been monitoring the friendly matches of the countries that have confirmed their participation in this year’s WAFU tournament.
“We want results that’s why we are doing all the tactical work” Mansaray stated.
Head Coach Hassan Mansaray sustained that he is not worried about the issue of goal scoring.
“The third-highest goal scorer in the just concluded league, Sally Turay, is part of my squad. Even in training sessions, she is proving her goal-scoring abilities. She has already scored ten goals so far in the training sessions” Coach Hassan said.
“I am ready to give my country victory and put smiles on the faces of all football-loving fans,” Sally Turay who will be marking her debut with the national side said confidently.
