The Head of Chancery at the Sierra Leone High Commission (SLHC), Juliana S. H. Fallah, led a delegation to meet with Eddie Hanson, Mayor of the London Borough of Camden, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
The meeting focused on exploring areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration between Sierra Leone and Camden.
Discussions centred on partnership building and community engagement, with both sides expressing strong enthusiasm for deepening ties. Camden is home to a significant Sierra Leonean community and has previously been involved in various development initiatives in Sierra Leone.
Mrs. Fallah emphasized the importance of leveraging the relationship between Sierra Leone and Camden to drive progress in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and economic development.
Mayor Hanson welcomed the opportunity for collaboration, highlighting Camden’s commitment to international cooperation and community empowerment.
The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts by the Sierra Leone High Commission to strengthen engagement with UK local authorities and promote Sierra Leone’s development agenda.
The High Commission expressed optimism about future collaborations with Camden, noting that such partnerships could contribute meaningfully to Sierra Leone’s growth and prosperity.
