33yrs old Foday Sesay a Masoner made his first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit office breaking and larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 15th November 2022 at Kalls institute Vocational training and higher leaning school at Mongagba Village the mountain rural district the western area in Freetown with intent to steal broke and entered into the office of Amy Tator Kallon and stole therein imported table, one black rolling chair, three wooden computer and other items valued forty thousand five hundred and twenty-five Leones(40,525,00) in New Leones Property of Amy Tator Kallon.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and no plea taken.
Sergeant 8975 Bangura I.S led first Prosecution witness (PW1) Amy Tator Kallon a Civil servant attached to the office of the first Lady. she recognized the accused person on the day of the incident and recall on Tuesday 15th November 2022 on the said date she was at home with two area boys that used to assist her.
They came to her house and asked them to clean her house; herself and her husband was at home when one boy came and informed them that they catch thief inside the school; on their arrival they met the community people arresting the accused person. The prosecution seek for a short adjournment date at this point.
However, Magistrate Ngegba refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown. Matter adjourned to the 30th November 2022.
