The Senior District Officer (SDO) GBO Chiefdom, Bo District Andrew Kaipuimoh has peacefully settled a decade old dispute in the aforementioned chiefdom. Advising those involved in the decade old conflict at a meeting held at the Gbaima Songa Court Barray, the Senior District Officer – Bo, maintained that sustainable development can only be achieved where there is peace.
He therefore implored all and sundry in the chiefdom to forgive and forget their wrong doings if peace and development were to be visible in the chiefdom and Bo District as a whole.
The paramount chief P.C Ruth Tutu Fawundu Songa foremost thanked all present for the peace resolution meeting. She eepecially recognized her boss the Senior District Officer Mr. Kaipuimoh for bringing together people who have been apart for at least ten years.
“I have forgiven all those fighting me thereby making sure that there is nothing in my chiefdom called peace and unity,” the first lady of Gbo Chiefdom stressed.
She further assured all her chiefdom authorities of a healthy working relationship noting that development is easily achieved with togetherness.
Lansana Koroma a former antagonist to the leadership of the Paramount Chief described the ten years problem with the chief as wasted years and unfortunate. He on behalf of his people registered their unflinching willingness and support tod work with madam Songa for the betterment of their chiefdom and the country as a whole.
