SAHR MORRIS JUNIOR LAUNCHED MANIFESTO AHEAD SWASAL ELECTIVE CONGRESS

Sahr Morris Junior a sports Journalist, blogger, and the deputy  Public Relations Office of Mercury International Lottery and Secretary General of SWASAL has the 18th May 2021 launched his manifesto for the upcoming SWASAL Elective Congress that is set to take place on the 29th May 2021.

Making his statement the Aspirant for the upcoming SWASAL Elections he said his manifesto is called our manifesto because it is going to be for the good of all members within the Sports Writers Association in the country, among the key points of his manifesto has to with the welfare of colleagues members within the Association, because other years Sports Journalists has faced a lots of challenges about the welfare, if elected as President he will address it.

Another keys points is that of having a functioning Secretariat that will be up and running to help tackle issues of concerns from colleagues members within the sports writers Association, he will also hope to work with cooperate houses to build a Resources Centre within the Siaka Stevens Stadium purely to help members carryout with their easily whenever they are on duty.

He affirmed that, he will be knocking at the doors of Newspaper owners, Radio Station owners, to see that they indulge the culture of covering local Sports, because according to him it should be must for all those Newspapers to encourage Sports Journalists to be covering local sports in the Country. He will also collaborate with the National Olympic Committee of Sierra Leone to help Sports Journalists with trainings to  help them know how to reports other Sporting disciplines not only Football, will also ensure colleagues members gets facilities to cover international competition’s.

Sahr Morris Junior added that he will set up a three Committee within his administration to help raised funding and to also help in the excursions of all that is in the Manifesto, because if an Organization to succeed it funding capacity need to strong.
