President Julius Madaa Bio has been invited by the National Executive of KOSA to grace their commemorative activities that will be observed on the 21st and the 7th May,2023. The president will be inducted as the Sixth Honorary Alumus of the School.
This will make him the second sitting Head of State of Sierra Leone to be accorded this status after the late President, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Tejan Kabba (of blessed memory), in 2002/2003 Academic Year.
He will therefore serve as Guest of Honour for the celebration and Keynote Speaker at the Annual Speech Day and Prize Giving Ceremony. As Champion of the nation’s Human Capital Development agenda, His Excellency’s Keynote Address will be on the theme: “THE FREE QUALITY EDUCATION, JOINING WITH THE BEST, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FUTURE OF SIERRA LEONE” His Excellency will also undertake a conducted tour of the school campus to enable him conceive projects for addressing the dire needs of the school.
Meanwhile, in a prior engagement with the National Executive, His Excellency the President has committed to support the transformation of the school through the launch of the “Academic Endowment Fund” and “Turning of the Sod” for the “Construction of an Ultra-Modern Administrative Block”, two of the flagship projects of the current National Executive.
Further, worthy to note is that the programme will also be graced by the attendance of the world acclaimed “Best Minister of Education, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh”, Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education who will deliver the “Good Will Message” as prelude to His Excellency’s Keynote address.

Above all, for accepting to be inducted as an Honorary Alumnus of our “Great School of the East, the School of our Hearts and Unit of Friendship and Love”, where “We All Work Together to make our School for the future and Betterment of Sierra Leone”.
