Some youths in Bo have embarked on educating the people in Bo that President should not be held responsible for the economic hardship in the country.
Speaking to A-Z Newspaper along the Bo Taiama Highway, the resident of Bo in their youthful age said that they are moving around to educating the public about the good work of President Bio since he assumed the leadership of the country.
According Ndoleh Koroma, they have seen the effort of the government in introducing the free quality education in the country, which is helping our parents, is a clear manifestation that the president has the country at heart.
He said that when some people are grumbling that there is hardship in the country as the cost of rice and other essential commodities is increasing in the country, the President should not be blamed for that because, the high cost of living could be as a result of the global crisis of Ukraine and Russia and also people should not lose sight of the fact that president Bio met a broken economy and he is very desperate to fix it.
Koroma said that they need to praise the government for the good work they have done within the five years as it has created the enabling environment for investors to come into the country, adding that President Bio has put in place sound micro and macro-economic policies in place to ensure that the government resuscitates the economy that was in coma.
John Kamara Sinneh, another youth in Bo said that ‘’ we have not been sponsored by president Bio to talk about his good work but we are doing it out of necessity based on the fact that we need to give praises were it is due and I want my colleague youths to know that we have a president that has the youths at heart.’’
Julius Mansaray another youth in Bo said that ‘’ we should not be oblivious of the fact that the we as Sierra Leoneans we have a role to play to make things easy for the government of day. If we embark on agriculture or engaged in the acquisition of skills at the vocational training centres or becoming a skill seeker at the garages or carpentry workshops in the end it will help us become self-reliant and the blame game theory will not be countenanced. ‘’
Mansaray said that ‘’ even though President Bio is creating the enabling environment, it behoves the youths to make us of that opportunity so that when investors come, there will be skills that they will be I need of , which will already have that will make us employable.’’
