The Chairman of the North America Branch of Sierra Leone Peoples Party, Desmond Pessima, has said that President Bio is going back to State House with no run-off, and the question of the president fulfilling his second term is guaranteed during the june 24th 2023 elections.
Speaking to AZ Newspaper in an interview, Mr. Pessima said that the group of sierra Leoneans that he is leading in North America and mobilizing, with the support of the executive and other Sierra Leonean organizations in North America, as according to him they are on the patriotic side of the development of the country.
He noted that they will continue to come to the country and that for the registration process they have members in Pujehun and other parts of the country to help in the registration process to ensure that the people turn out in large numbers to register.
According to him, they are very much connected with the things that are happening in the country.
“While we are in the diaspora we are supporting the Government in our little way in the area of health, education and attracting international support to enhance quality service delivery by the President Bio led government, which the people of the country will sure give him the second chance to continue with the work he started in his first term.
