President Dr. Julius Maada Bio hosted a formal decoration ceremony at State House to honor newly promoted General Ranking Officers of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), celebrating their professional achievements and commitment to national service.
In his address, President Bio congratulated the officers for their dedication, discipline, and hard work, which he said were instrumental in earning their new ranks.
“Your commitment has led you to this achievement, and I commend you for your success,” the President stated.
He emphasized that leadership and discipline are key pillars of the military, especially as the country navigates efforts to strengthen national security and stability.
As Commander-in-Chief, President Bio reassured the newly promoted officers of his full support as they assume greater responsibilities.
“I will always stand by you as you embrace your new responsibilities with pride and determination,” he affirmed, reinforcing the government’s strong ties with the armed forces.
