His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has applauded His Majesty the King’s Foundation initiatives during a guided tour of various centers in the United Kingdom on Tuesday 14th January 2025.
The visit aimed to showcase the impactful initiatives of the King’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering vibrant communities and empowering youth.
The tour included a firsthand look at programs centered on health and well-being, educational employment, sustainable construction, textile design, and agricultural skills.
These initiatives are designed to promote sustainable development, ensuring that individuals and communities thrive together with the environment.
“Today’s experience was enlightening as we observed how the Foundation is making a tangible difference in the lives of our youth,” President Bio remarked during the tour.

Accompanying the President and First Lady were notable figures, including the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC, and acclaimed actor Idris Elba, who expressed their support for the Foundation’s mission.
