Port Authority FC delivered an impressive performance, overwhelming Bai Bureh Warriors FC with a score of 4-1, keeping their survival hopes alive in the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League.

Hassan opened the scoring for Port Authority just five minutes into the match, and Mohamed quickly doubled the lead for the Waterfront Boys before halftime. In the second half, Musa Kamara netted two more goals, giving Port Authority a commanding lead and uplifting the spirits of their passionate fans, despite a late consolation goal from Beneriot. This emphatic victory brought Port Authority three crucial points, ending their five-game winless streak; their last win was on May 25, 2025, against East End Lions (4-2).

Looking ahead, Port Authority FC will face Freetonians SLIFA FC in a critical match that could see them climb out of the relegation zone.

This defeat marked the end of Bai Bureh Warriors’ eight-game unbeaten streak, with their last loss dating back to May 31, 2025, against Bo Rangers (3-1).

In other matches, Diamond Stars edged out Wusum Stars 1-0 at Koidu City Field, thanks to a late goal from Musa Samura in the 76th minute. In their previous encounter on June 22, 2024, Wusum Stars had triumphed with a convincing 4-0 victory.

At the SLFA Academy, Kingtom Stars Sports Academy secured a 2-0 win over Abacha City. The visitors took the lead through Alie Ramadan Kabia, assisted by Momoh Conteh, who later doubled the lead with a goal of his own, set up by Kabia. This marked Stars Sports Academy’s first away victory since June 11, 2025, against Diamond Stars (2-0).
