The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) wishes to inform the public that, on Monday, November 17, 2025, it issued a fine of One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Leones (NLe 120,000) to the All-Peoples Congress (APC) Party for a violation of Section 39(1)(d) of the Political Parties Act (No. 25) of 2022. The violation occurred on Saturday, November 15, 2025, by the APC’s Falaba District Chairman, Hon. Lahai Marrah.

In a letter dated November 11, 2025, the Commission had previously warned the APC regarding a contravention of Section 39(1)(d) of the Act.

The Commission expresses serious concern over certain inflammatory and inciting statements made by Hon. Lahai Marrah during a civic engagement organized by the Tripartite Steering Committee Secretariat at the District Council Hall in Falaba Town on November 15, 2025.

As a result of these actions, the APC Party has been given a period of fourteen (14) days to settle the fine.
