Sergeant 9139 Mohamed Lahai led second Prosecution witness PW2  Sergeant 9823 Brima Turay attached to the Criminal Investigation Department Central Police Station Freetown said he knew the complainant assistant Superintendent of police  John Momoh now Superintendent and also recognized all accused persons.

PW 2 said he recalled on the 13th December 2021 while on duty at the Criminal Investigation Department Central Police Station his boss handed over to him a case of enquiry file containing a report of Superintendent John Momoh a case of unlawful assembly, riotous conduct and disorderly behavior the case of enquiry file containing the report was produced and tendered in court and marked as exhibit A1-3. 

At this stage, the prosecution seeks a short adjournment date, while Counsel representing the accused persons objected to the application made by the prosecution that the accused persons are coming from the Far East of Freetown Kono and transportation is very expensive to get to Freetown.

After listening to the evidence of the prosecution witness, magistrate Sahr Kekura granted bail to Karamoh Kabba and fourteen others in the sum of one hundred million Leones on their third appearance. 

All fifteen accused persons are before the count on summary trial on five counts charges of Conspiracy to commit a felony, unlawful assembly, riotous conduct, Incitement and intimidation contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.

It was alleged on count one that on Monday 13th of December 2021 at Siaka Steven Street, Freetown, the accused persons conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit unlawful assembly.

From count two to count five, all accused persons were alleged to unlawfully assemble, behaved in a riotous manner, and used inciting words to intimidate others.

Magistrate Kekura adjourned the matter to the 18th August 2022 for further hearing.
