The Regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Bo is currently investigating the death of a 14 year-old girl Memunatu Mamie Beah at Limba village, Bagbo Chiefdom, Bo District.
According to the Deputy Police Media Officer, South, Constable Alhaji Osman Mansaray, the police was informed about the death of the deceased on Saturday 13 November 2021.
“We were told that a disco jam was organized at Limba village. The initial information police received was that the 14 year-old girl drowned in a pit. The police went there but saw wounds on the dead body,” Constable Alhaji Mansaray explained.
The Regional Deputy Police Media Officer has confirmed four suspects are currently in police custody helping with investigations.
They are Mamie Bockarie, Principal of Grace Academy School, Mohamed Dafie, Teacher of Grace Academy School, Hassan Honer, security of Grace Academy and Foday Luseni, the owner of the musical set.
Constable Alhaji Osman Mansaray informed the late girl was found dead at Grace Academy and that it was the father of the deceased who reported the death of his daughter on Saturday 13 November 2021.
He disclosed that the body of the late Memunatu Mamei Beah has been taken to the Bo Government Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
