In an impressive joint operation, AIG Brima Kanneh, Regional Police Commander South, has commended Chief Superintendent Bernadette Sia Sandy for her pivotal role in the successful apprehension of a notorious Kush dealer.

This significant arrest, carried out with information from an anonymous tip to AIG Kanneh through Chief Superintendent Sandy, demonstrates a collaborative approach to leadership in the fight against the illegal drug trade, aligning with directives from the Inspector General of Police.

The arrest unfolded at the Bo Kenema Highway Snap Checkpoint, strategically positioned opposite Galliness Paradise Hotel. The suspect, David Wilson, was intercepted en route to Jenneh Gbado village in the Kenema District, residing at 15 Seaay Street, Yemoh Town Bo.

Upon a thorough search by police personnel, Wilson was found with 151 sachets of Kush, 3 ounces of the substance, an electronic scale, and an unspecified quantity of unmeasured Kush. Praising the Bo police for their efficient security measures, Wilson, a seasoned trader in Kush, acknowledged the effectiveness of the operation that led to his capture.

This arrest underscores the unwavering commitment of law enforcement in the region to eradicate the illicit drug trade, sending a strong message to those involved in such illegal activities.
