As the SLP Southern Region continue to provide security for the people of Bo city and its environs, the Special Task Force from Freetown in collaboration with police personnel in Bo has on Sunday 23rd January 2022, conducted a sting operation within the city of Bo for which one notorious drug dealer Alieu Barkarr alias Konday of Main Sewa Road in Bo was arrested with huge quantities of cannabis – sativa, Kush, a carton of tramadol and a locally made shot gun pistol.
In a separate development, the operation team stormed another grey area within the Old Police Barracks periphery, back of Lebanese mosque and apprehended four suspected criminals including one Alusine Kamara a ring leader with quantum of Kush and two boxes of tramadol.
Suspects were handed over to the Regional CID while the operations continue in a bid to weed out criminals in Bo.
