Xizang Development 2025 Forum on the Development of Xizang, China takes place in Nyingchi, Xizang Autonomous Region The 2025 Forum on the Development of Xizang, China, is being held from October 27 to 30 in Nyingchi, in the southwestern Xizang Autonomous Region. Dai Kaiyi reports.
Under the theme “Discovering a Beautiful Xizang and Writing a New Chapter on the Plateau,” the forum aims to create a global dialogue platform and chart a new path for the future development of the plateau region. Over 400 local and visiting guests are attending the forum, including over 100 international participants from more than 40 countries and regions. They have shared their insights and perspectives on Xizang’s development and the significance of the event.

In addition to the opening and main sessions, the forum includes thematic panels focused on developing plateau-specific industries, safeguarding the ecological environment of the “Roof of the World,” and promoting youth development. The First Xizang International Communication Conference is also being held alongside the forum.
