Hassan Mustapha Kamara a petty trader made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count of Larceny from person contrary to law.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 12th June 2022 at Siaka Steven Street the western area in Freetown stole from Musa Idrissa Kanu one blue Tecno Spark 5 air mobile phone valued the sum of one million Six hundred thousand Leones(1600,000) property of the said Musa Idrissa Kanu.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
Counsel representing the accused person A.D Gbla renewed his previous Bail applications on behalf of the accused person.
However, bail was granted to the accused person in the sum of twenty million Leones with two sureties in like sum sureties to be resident in the western area in Freetown sureties to produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown one surety to be employed bail to be approved by the Bench.
Matter adjourned to the 15th July, 2022 for further hearing, while Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun prosecutes.
