17yrs Old Hassan Mustapha Kamara petty trader made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny from the person Contrary to section 14 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 12th June, 2022 at Siaka Steven Street the western area in Freetown Stole from the person Musu Idrissa Kanu one blue Tecno Spark 5 air mobile phone valued the sum of one million six hundred thousand Leones(1600,000) property of the said Musu Idrissa Kanu.
The charges was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor told the Bench that her witness was absent whilst the accused person was unrepresented.
Magistrate Gogra sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown, and adjourned the matter adjourned to the 24th June 2022 for further hearing. Inspector Musu E Kpulun prosecuting the matter.
