29 yrs-old Abdul Salam Kamara alias Shokor a driver made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at Guard Street the western area in Freetown did steal by trick one red colored item S-15 android mobile phone valued $150 dollars equivalent to one thousand nine hundred and fifty New Leones(1,950,00) property of Alex Kaikai.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor police constable 14071 Mustapha Massaqoui told the bench that fact as charge no available records against the accused person.
The accused person was unrepresented and he pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.
However, Magistrate Gogra due to the plea mitigation sentenced the accused person to six months imprisonment at the male correctional center in Freetown.
