Mr. Mallah said that while he was at the Bo School he had a lot of people he admired including President Bio who was by then the head of State for the NPRC and bought satellite for them to watch football matches instead of going to around town to roam about.
It is the same President Bio, he said, who introduced the Free and quality education “and my own little contribution to this educational program, is the donation of PA system, two microphones and a packet of batteries.”
Mr. Mallah said he values education that is why he is supporting the vision of the president, in addition to the contribution of his organization: People’s Development Organization (PDO) to education, adding that education is the bedrock of the development of the country.
“Also, as an active old boy and Board member of the Bo school I want to contribute to the successful implementation of the Free and quality education program of Ngor Bio who is my senior at the Bo School.”
Receiving the items, the Principal of the Bo School, Edward Kpakra said “I am happy to receive donation as such remains us about our commitment we have to the school as we all went through the school and we need to give back to our Alma meter.”
This he said is what Gassimu Mallah has done and who came from the diaspora to give back to the school as a principal, adding that the PA system will not only be used for assembly but for other purposes like OBBA celebration .
Mr. Kpakra said that the PA system will amplify their voices to easily communicate to the pupils as he does not need to shout as he normally does.
