One of the most deprived community in the Eastern part of Freetown municipality ward 120 has call on government emergency aid, to rescue them on their poor road network.
According to news gathered within this community seems like due to the poor road network has endangered the likes of so many sierra Leoneans within the said community.
With thorough investigation carry-out by this medium shows that even motor bikes cannot access the road easily which many Sierra Leoneans who within the said community is using to get home after work or business hours.
The poor road network has left many Sierra Leonean dead trying to use motor vehicle to reach their home or move out for their business proposes.
As we go to press this medium can confirmed that due to this poor road network in the Moyiba community hundreds of youth and kids has lost their lives, with this, the people are still appealing.
According to the chairman of police partnership board, Ezekiel Kallah, at the Moyiba community, who told this medium that they have reach the media because they need the government to protect them when it comes into danger, that over the years this road has been like what they referred to as a” death trap” adding that lots of people have sustained injuries while plying that particular community.
According to the resident of the community owing to the deplorable state of the road, drivers, okada riders have been in the habit of raising prices of taking percentages to their various point of destination for fear of their bikes being damaged.
With an exclusive interviewed with senior teachers and school pupils at the community primary school, teachers revealed that due to poor road network that led the children’s coming to school late, that majority of the children’s are coming from the other root just to balance the poor road network, so they decided to work on feet both the morning and afternoon shift.
Because of this, teachers and children’s are appealing to government and its partners to rescue them, from poor road network in the said community.
