Musa Mansaray the alleged victim on the 8th of July 2022 testified in the ongoing preliminary investigation into the alleged robbery with violence incident at LEOCON filling station involving Alhaji Amadu Bah aka LAJ.
The accused Alhaji Amadu Bah who made his fifth appearance before magistrate Kekura of Pademba road court No1 was arraigned on four counts of charges of robbery with violence and assault.
According to the police, the accused Alhaji Amadu Bah on Sunday 12 June 2022 at LEOCON filling station with the intent to rob, stole the sum of Le 4,200,000 and assaulted a pump attendant.
The State Prosecutor, Yusif Isaac Sesay led in evidence the third prosecution witness (PW3), Francess Wilson a pump attendant at Leonco fuel station on Water Street in Freetown.
After rigorous cross-examination by defense counsel Madieu Esq, he renewed his previous Bail applications on behalf of the accused person, while the state opposed the application made by the defense counsel.
Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 13th of July 2022 for further hearing.
