23 yrs-old Ibrahim Kandeh a bike rider made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Fraudulent conversion Contrary to Section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 20th November 2022 at Spur loop the western area in Freetown fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say one red TVS Star motor bike with registration number ATN 518 value seven thousand seven hundred and fifty Leones(17,750) entrusted to him by Foday Mansaray for the purpose of commercial use property of Kelly Sheka Koroma whilst in the custody of Foday Mansaray.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor police constable 14071 requested for a short adjournment date for him to get proper audience with his witness.
Mainwhile, Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown and matter was adjourned to the 2nd December 2022 for further hearing.
