32yrs old Vandy Rogers a Laborer made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Shop breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Thursday 4th August 2022 at Easmon drive Wilberforce village the western area in Freetown with intent to steal break and entered into the shop of Patrick Bio and stole therein one cammon sewing machine valued four million Leones (Le 4,000,000) now Le4,000 property of Patrick Bio.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person who pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution informed the bench that her witness is absent, and the Magistrate refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional centre in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 16th of August 2022 for further hearing Inspector, while Musu E. Kpulun is prosecuting the matter.
