24yrs old Abdul Kamara made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section of 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 24th September 2022 at Ataya base Hill top, Hill station the mountain rural district the western area in Freetown did steal one roll earth cable valued one thousand new Leones(1,000,00) and half roll earth cables valued five hundred new Leones (500,00) all to the total value of one thousand five hundred Leones(1,500,00) in New Leones Property of Ibrahim Thullah.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor Amiza John informed the Bench that her witness is absent and she requested for a short adjournment date.
Mainwhile, Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 25th November 2022 for further hearing
