19yrs old Alie Sesay a pupil made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on the 23rd July 2022 at Comium pole, Hill top, Hill station the mountain rural district the western area in Freetown did steal one green and black Amplifier mixer musical set valued four million Leones(4,000,000) property of Ishmael Fullah whilst in custody of Augustine Kanu.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
Led in evidence by Mabel M Tarawalie prosecution witness number one Augustine Kanu an Electrician said he recognized the accused person as his Neighbour.
He recalled on the 23rd July 2022 something happened went he went out he left the accused person at home the witness said around 7-8am when he returned the accused informed him that the mixer had gone missing.
The accused person informed him that a friend of him had come to visit him earlier.
The witness said he went to mountain division police station where he made a statement saying the amplifier mixer costs four million Leones and it belongs to his boss.
However, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of ten million Leones with two sureties each in like sum sureties to produce valid identity card one surety to be employed.
Bail to be approved by the bench.
