Orthodox Football Academy has 1st July 2022 reached safely Casablanca, Morocco for the Orange Sponsors Change football competition.

The competition runs from 2nd to 4th July in Casablanca (Morocco) on the sidelines of the Women’s African Cup of Nations 2022.

Ten countries from the continent will participate in this year’s U13 tournament. These are Morocco, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cameroon, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, and the Central African Republic.

Orange Sierra Leone will be represented by Orthodox Football Academy.

Orthodox representation came as a result of them being the winners of the first of the Orange U- 13 junior tournaments that was staged at the Extra Arena at SS Camp Matt. This was a tournament that could have taken place early in January but the organizers called it off because of the second hit of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Cameroon.

Orthodox football club is one of the most successful clubs in Freetown because they have won a series of junior trophies recent, they won the Western Area under 15 tournaments in 2021, and many football pundits have predicted they have promising players have a great tenancy to represent the country in the near feature.
