The Management of one of the leading mobile companies orange Sierra Leone on Wednesday 26th October 2022, simultaneously launched in the district its new products orange money and orange App.
In Kono District, the official launch of the orange money and orange app saw an endless motorcade with a composition of people from all works of life visiting public places to introduce or popularize the newly launched orange money and orange app.
Responding to this medium, the sponsor of Kono Team who also doubles as the audit risk Internal Control director of orange Sierra Leone, Mr Adama Dissa maintained that she was in the District to officially launch the orange money and orange app. This application makes the transactions of money easier on their subscriber’s phones.
Explaining the launched orange money and orange app Mr Dissa pointed out that to access or use the orange money previously one has to go on the USSD and press the hash button with 148 to validate and then recall the number of the customer and then validate.
Mr. Dissa noted that with the new app mistakes in transacting orange money are things of the past. He said the objective of launching the new orange money app is to make their services friendly, useful and easier.
He thanked their subscribers for appreciating the new orange money app adding that the management of orange Sierra Leone thought it prudent to launch the said facility so that they can follow the trend of modern technology.
He revealed that plans are underway by the management of orange Sierra Leone to launch other similar facilities. He assured their subscribers of sustainable services, especially in their network “I implore all and sundry to go for the orange money app launched by the Audit Risk Internal Control Director Orange Sierra Leone,” Adama Dissa concluded.
Meanwhile, a similar sentiment was also expressed by the Regional Business manager of Orange Sierra Leone Kono Branch, Amadu Barrie. Expressing their views on the facility launched Francis Konneh, Alpha Umaru Sow, Mohamed Turay and Sargent Augusta attached to the Tankoro Police Divisional headquarters in Koidu City thanked the management of Orange Sierra Leone for making such a friendly and useful facility available. They urged the administration of orange Sierra Leone to make the newly launched orange money app sustainable.
