On Alleged Wounding: Petty Trader Granted Le 10m Bail

 20yrs-Old Fatmata Moseray a Petty trader made her first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Wounding Contrary to Section 20 of the offenses against the person Act 1861 and assault Occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to the Law of Sierra Leone.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday 5th December 2022 at Regent Road Lumley the western area in Freetown maliciously wounded and assaulted Isatu Kamara.

The charge was read and explained to the accused person and she pleaded not guilty.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of ten million Leones with one surety in like sum; surety must be resident within the western area.

 Surety to produce valid identity card; bail to be approved by the Bench.

The matter was adjourned to 6th February 2023 for further hearing, while Police Constable 14071 Mustapha Massaquio is prosecuting the matter.
