29 years old James Kamando a Labourer and 25 years old Esther Kamando a Hairdresser made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on three count charges to wit Wounding with intent contrary to section 18 of the offences against the person Act 1861, Wounding contrary to Section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861 and Assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of the offence on Sunday 9th April 2023 at Divine Drive Hilltop, Hill station the mountain rural district of the western area in Freetown wounded Sheku Koroma with intent to do him grievous bodily harm; on counts two and three at the same place and date the accused persons maliciously wounded and assaulted the said complainant in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
Counsel representing the accused persons M.M Rogers renewed his previous Bail applications on behalf of the accused persons.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of twenty thousand Leones each with one surety each in like sum sureties to produce a valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown sureties to be resident in the western area sureties to be employed bail to be approved by the Bench.
The matter was adjourned to the 28th of June 2023 for further hearing while Inspector Mohamed Kamara prosecuting the matter.
