The case file of Abu Bakar Jalloh has been remitted to the juvenile court for preliminary hearings, after he was alleged to have broken into Henry Fergusson Scholl library.

The decision of his transfer took effect after magistrate Sahr Kekura of Ross Road Court No.1 perused the file and notice that the accused was below the age of eighteen years.

According to the charge sheet, the accused Abu Bakar Jalloh was charged to court after police investigation on allegation of theft.

He was arraigned for larceny contrary to section 2 of the larceny Act of 1916.

The police alleged that the accused. on the 10th of July 2023 break into the library of Henry Fagusson Secondary School at Kennedy street to steal.

Shortly after the charge was put to the accused, magistrate Sahr Keikura perused the file and noticed that the accused was under aged.

Questioning the accused to ascertain the fact, he told the Bench that he was born on the 21st of October 2006.

The sitting Magistrate calculates the years pronounced by the accused and notice that he is not fit to be tried at his court.

Magistrate Kekura refused him bail and remitted his case file to the juvenile court for preliminary hearings.

The accused who was shivering got escorted by the correctional officers to the court lock up.
