The Goderich Obafunkia, Community people are calling on the Government of Sierra Leone to restructure a bridge that was constructed by the C.S.E Company.
The bridge is in a dilapidated state for months now since the president, his Wife and some other dignitaries assured residents that from funkia junction to obafunkia the C.S.E Company will fix the roads at the time they’re about to vote for the parliamentary elections for constituency 110 between Josephine Jackson and Kadie Davies.
One of the village elders who spoke to A-Z said that he has passion and love for humanity and for him seating down watching pupils from various communities, pregnant women, and nurses struggling to cross the bridge on a daily basis.
He speak about one student that fell inside the bridge and she is yet to recover from his injuries he also said the president of Sierra Leone wants the children in Sierra Leone to be educated but without good roads for them to locate their various schools it is a problem.
Speaking to one pupil that is attending the Rural Education Primary school, she said dressing from her home she looks nice but from her home to school she would become filthy because of the road and the bridge he uses to take off her shoes for her to pass through the bridge.
