NRA Boss Attends Tax Administration Master Class In KIGALI

 Commissioner General for the National Revenue Authority has attended a two-day International Master Class in Rwanda Kigali on Wednesday 16th August 2023.

  Ibrahim Brima Swarray, Commissioner General for the National Revenue Authority felt honored to take part into a prominent Tax Administration session of elites across Africa.  “The Master Class focuses on Tax Administration of heads of revenue generation from different countries in Africa.” NRA Boss said.

He continued that this year’s International Master Class pledges on empowering individuals, teams and organizations through purposeful leadership which would give a deep-dive on efficient and solid revenue mobilization for heads of revenue as one of their key driving forces for revenue authorities.

Commissioner General who is festooned as a result-oriented leader in different spectrums assured of his commitment as the entire event happened to be a maiden learning platform since he officially took over from his successive predecessor, Dr Gibao  noting that he would  painstakingly note down the new knowledge and experiences learn from the two days International Master Class from other experienced and experts in revenue collection and mobilization into country’s breadbasket that which was assigned to him  by President Julius Maada Bio.

Commissioner Swarray said all what he would be gaining at the international conference on Tax Developments and other related topics would equally be replicated to all of his staff in Sierra Leone in a bid to put them on their right trajectory for revenue generation.

The NRA Boss few weeks in office had shown exceptional leadership style with impressive daily revenue collections and he remained determined to ensure that the target for daily revenue generation would be a positive bombshell towards the amplifying of the socio-economic sector in Sierra Leone. He maintained that during the event, he would shoulder his optimism and liaise with other leaders on partnership and bilateral relations in order to help boost the National Revenue Authority Sector in Sierra Leone as it serves as one of the backbones to national developments.
