The newly transferred Magistrate to the Sefadu Magistrate Court, Alpha Ndoleh has said late court sitting will be a thing of the past in his tenure as magistrate in the District.

Magistrate Alpha Ndoleh made the statement during a consultative meeting with stakeholders, miners of Gold and Diamond among other key players in the mining sector at the Fachima hall in Koidu City, Kono District.

According to him, some concern citizens have expressed dismay over the way  and  manner the court sittings have  been held at the Sefadu Magistrate court, noting that over three to four years the court has been  sitting at around 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. respectively,  which he described as an  unfortunate act on the part of the law makers.

He pointed out that, the court will now hold at 9:30 in the morning from Mondays to Fridays in order to speed up justice in Kono. He added that the earlier the better and justice delay is justice denied.

According to local gossips, the too much alleged injustice at the Sefadu Magistrate court cannot be unconnected with the late court sitting. Many are eager to see the professed intentions of the Magistrate are translated into tangibles.
