In a spectacular celebration of World Food Day, Solidaridad West Africa steals the spotlight with an awe-inspiring display of their pioneering intercropping approach, blending oil palm and cashew with cassava and cocoa intensification, enhanced by banana/plantain, cassava, groundnut, and corn cultivation.
This momentous celebration stands as a testament to the unwavering collaboration between Solidaridad West Africa, the Government of Sierra Leone, and a dedicated assembly of development allies, all united under the resonant theme: “Water is Life; Water is Food, Leave No One Behind.”
Over the course of two enlightening days, farmers who have reaped the benefits of Solidaridad West Africa’s unwavering support take center stage to present their remarkable array of food products.
